Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Voxcroft (“Voxcroft”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Voxcroft mobile application and related services (the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account information — your email address and authentication identifiers (including Apple Sign-in or Google Sign-in identifiers when used). Linked to your user account.
• Voice samples — audio you record or upload as a reference for cloning. Stored privately, linked to your user account, and accessible only by you.
• Generated audio — the speech files produced by the Service, along with the input text and any character names or descriptions you provide.
• Subscription and purchase data — subscription tier, status, renewal date, and purchase identifiers (received from Apple or Google via our subscription provider).
• Device identifiers — a per-device identifier used for trial abuse prevention and push notifications.
• Usage data — product interaction events such as which screens you visit and which features you use, used to improve the app.
• Diagnostics — crash logs and performance data, typically not linked to your identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the Service, including processing your voice samples and generating speech.
• Manage your account, subscription, and entitlements.
• Send push notifications about generation status, when you opt in.
• Detect and prevent abuse (e.g. trial abuse, fraudulent signups).
• Improve app reliability and quality through aggregated analytics and crash reports.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising or third-party tracking.

3. Voice Cloning — Consent and Restrictions

Voice cloning is limited to your own voice. By recording a voice sample, you confirm that the voice belongs to you and that you consent to its use for generating speech in the app.

Cloning the voice of any other person without their explicit, informed, and verifiable consent is prohibited. If we are notified that a voice sample uploaded to the Service was created without the speaker’s consent, we will remove it and may terminate the account responsible.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data, voice samples, and generated audio for as long as your account is active. Voice generation history may be retained for up to 30 days on the free tier and longer on paid tiers. Subscription records are retained as required for billing and tax compliance.

5. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the Voxcroft app (Profile tab → Delete account). Deletion permanently removes your voice profile, reference recordings, generated audio, and history from our servers. Anonymized analytics events may persist after deletion as they cannot be linked back to you.

6. Children

Voxcroft is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to restrict or object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. International Transfers

Voxcroft operates globally, and your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) when transferring data internationally.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email when reasonably possible.
